Functional medicine is a systems-based approach to healing that utilizes specific lab tests to pinpoint the root cause of pathology. Functional medicine combined with my background in Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda offers the best of both Eastern and Western approaches.

I use cutting-edge laboratory diagnostics based on the latest scientific research, coupled with lifestyle medicine, nutrition guidance and meal plans, nutritional supplements, and stress management techniques.

How the process works:

STEP 1:

During your initial consultation, Rachel Redmond, DOM, L.Ac will review your health history and make recommendations for lab tests that are appropriate for your specific health issues. She will also offer lifestyle, nutrition, and stress management recommendations to get you started and while waiting for the results of your lab tests. 

STEP 2:
Once you have completed your lab tests, Rachel Redmond, DOM, L.Ac will explain the meaning of your test results to you in a follow-up consultation. Based on the results, Rachel will create an individualized healing program including dietary changes, nutritional supplements, and targeted lifestyle recommendations to help resolve the presenting symptoms and underlying cause. 

STEP 3:

Follow-up consults are scheduled to monitor your progress. Rachel Redmond, DOM, L.Ac. will review and update your healing program at each follow-up consultation.

New Patient consultation: $295 (1 hour)

Follow-up visits:

1 hour: $295

30 mins: $150

15 mins: $75

With little —if any— paid parental leave, high cost of child care, and never-ending stress coming in all directions, it’s no surprise more than half of parents these days feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted.

In fact, a recent study from Ohio State University found that 66% of working parents meet the criteria for burnout.

As a mother myself, I know how important it is to receive the care and support we all need to work, care for our families, while having a little extra for ourselves.

I work with mothers (and sometimes fathers) struggling with their physical and/or mental health, hormones, energy, immune system, and more in the months or even years after having a baby.
